City Lore recently debuted its Place Matters Map, which is an interactive cartography of 755 (and growing!) important sites around NYC. "The map graphically identifies cherished sites in all five boroughs, and we hope that it will foster exploration of the ways in which places across the city are geographically, culturally and economically related."
