The tumor that first sprouted on 100 Third Avenue in 2009 turned out to be a slow-growing one, and three years later the scaffolding and construction netting have been removed to reveal a sleek, dare we say featureless, facade with all the clean-scrubbed character of a 19-year-old fresh off the bus and ready to make it big in New York. Neighborhood chronicler EV Grieve has before and after pics of the building, which formerly housed NYU undergrad despoiler Bar None. Nevada Smith's?temporarily relocated to Webster Hall?is supposed to be moving into the space, hopefully in time for the 2014 World Cup, because the bar is "Where Football is Religion", and by football they mean soccer.
