Now that the last unsold unit at 100 11th Avenue is in contract, brokers and building residents finally open up about the building's neighbor, the Bayview Correctional Facility women's prison. "We called it the naughty girls' club," explains Holly Parker, the building's sales director. "We never said the p-word." A few prospective buyers opted to look elsewhere because of the prison, but others saw it as "a great conversation starter," despite less than enthusiastic responses from the inmates to waving residents.
