The Post has the deets on the major renovation planned for St. Patrick's Cathedral, estimated to cost $175 million. The exterior renovation calls for replacing the marble blocks and refitting the stained glass windows. According to the restoration consultants: "The goal at the end of the day and tens of millions of dollars is to have it not look a whole lot different. The discerning eye should notice it is cleaner." We would hope so. [NYP]
