The creators of the Low Line recently took to Kickstarter in search of funding for their proposed underground park beneath Delancey Street. While James Ramsey, Dan Barasch and co. are at work on the full-scale mockup they'll be displaying in the Essex Street Market this fall, a smaller model will be on display at the Mark Miller Gallery from April 1 to April 29. (Ramsey and Barasch will chat about the project at an open house on April 1.) Along with the exhibit, "images of the current location as well as architectural renderings of its potential future will be available for viewing and purchase"?a slightly odd souvenir that's part of the park's fundraising scheme.
