Does Tribeca's 140 Franklin Contain Two Almost-Perfect Lofts?

Tribeca's 140 Franklin Street first came to our attention when unit #3C proved itself against our Tribeca loft checklist. Via Homes of the Rich, we learn that upstairs neighbor #5BC is now on the market (#3C sold for $4.85 million, a discount, in August). So how does #5BC fare? The apartment is spacious?more so, at 6,226 square feet, than its downstairs neighbor?Carter B. Horsley still thinks the building is "most handsome," and the columns in the kitchen still endanger midnight snackers. And then there's the decor: impressive, a bit blinding, and totally outside the bounds of our checklist.
