Market Analysis

Has the Harlem market emerged from the real estate slump? Perhaps! The Times has some stats: the median sales price in the neighborhood fell by almost 16 percent between 2007 and last year. But now inventory is falling too, by 5 percent in 2011, and prices rose 18 percent in Central Harlem last year. The new median price is $536,645. [NYT]
