Subway Sagas

The folks in Albany made a deal to fund the MTA's capital program. That's good news for the Second Avenue subway, the 7 extension, the Fulton Street Transit Center, and the Eastside Access project, among others. The state will be giving the MTA $770 million more over three years, and the deal also involves a federal loan request for another $2.2 billion. Seems like a positive development, but we're not going to risk another prediction for the end of construction on Second Ave. [Gothamist; previously]
