When Two Coasts Meet Up in Red Hook

New, 1 comment

So, what happens when a New Hampshire native marries someone from Berkeley and then they move to Red Hook? You get a lot of collected art stored into the 800 square foot Van Brunt Street apartment while still maintaining a minimalist vibe. They love the space, and their kid seems to be pretty fond of it too. But what of Red Hook's isolation? “It can feel as if the neighborhood doesn’t offer a lot of options. Plus we have to dangle a carrot to our friends to get them to come and visit.” Kind of a bummer, but you're not going to get that small-town feel anywhere else. Check out a slideshow tour of the apartment over here.
