A Times op-ed weighs in on NYU's plan to add 2.5 million square feet in Greenwich Village, and it's actually quite in favor of the plan. And what led to the positive feelings towards the project? "It’s good for the entire city, and it’s inevitable." The piece also adds that "It is one of the nation’s elite universities; it adds high-paying jobs and intellectual allure to the city and to the Village. It is just the sort of thing New Yorkers should encourage." We assume many will disagree with the judgment. [NYT]
