UPPER WEST SIDE—Parks & Recreation personnel will be doing detail restoration on the Straus Memorial monument at Broadway and 106th Street tomorrow in advance of this week's hundred year anniversary of Isadore and Ida Straus's death aboard the Titanic. Isadore was the owner of the department store R.H. Macy and Company. His wife Ida turned down a spot in the ship's lifeboats to remain with her husband as the Titanic sank in 1912.
