Peek Into the Garden of Julianne Moore's West Village House

New, 16 comments

Julianne Moore has twice tried and failed to sell her West Village townhouse. It's been off the market for about a year now, and perhaps Moore has made peace with that state of affairs, because she chatted with Architectural Digest about the garden, designed by Brian Sawyer, and how much she likes it. Sawyer describes townhouse gardens as a "nightmare" because of "drainage problems as well as huge planting limitations because of the lack of light." One solution: an "installation of branches" by artist Roderick Wolgamott Romero that "functions as a tree house."
