It's been years since the Public Theater unveiled its plans for a renovation of its landmark Astor Place building. The project?including a 75-foot long "monumental stairway" and a wider sidewalk?finally broke ground in March 2010. Now we learn, via press release, that the completely renovated space will be unveiled this fall. In the meantime, reps shared the above render for the building. And since it happens to be around the corner from Curbed HQ, we strolled over for a peek.
