Renovated Fifth Avenue Co-op Cuts $3M From Its Price Tag

New, 6 comments

This third-floor apartment at 1030 Fifth Avenue last sold in early 2010 for $8,898,000?and then transformed itself with a gut renovation into an apartment with a $22M price tag. The renovation reconfigured the place from 12 rooms into nine, three of which include unobstructed Central Park and Met views. Even so, the price hike appears to have been a bit much for the market to handle. The apartment is now asking just $19 million, a 14 percent discount. Is that more like it?
