Sulzberger Nephew Buys $1.825M Carroll Gardens House

New, 1 comment

Sulzberger relative Sam Dolnick (grandnephew of former Times publisher Arthur Ochs "Punch" Sulzberger) has been busy on the Brooklyn townhouse market. He listed his townhouse at 136 Hawthorne Street in March, and a tipster whispered that the Dolnicks were in contract for 473 Sackett Street in Carroll Gardens. Indeed they were! Their purchase of the property has just hit public record, and they paid $1.825 million, up from an ask of $1.695 million. The house is a two-family place, with an owner's duplex and a garden rental. With convenient timing, the Dolnicks' $1.15M property at 136 Hawthorne also just went into contract. We like what we see in both places.
