Slo-Mo Flip: Appreciating a Park Slope Loft for 20 Years

New, 8 comments

This million dollar Park Slope loft cost its sellers just $172,500 when they purchased it 20 years ago, and it's now on the market for $999,000. The current owners appreciated the 1,300 square feet of space and high ceilings (10-11 feet) of the condo at 11 Sterling Place just off 5th Avenue in Park Slope after moving from Manhattan, according to the Journal. The pair created a second bedroom that's used as an office, which might open up a little bit if the circa 1993 PC towers and CRT monitors were replaced with laptops. There's a three-step vertical separation between the master bedroom and the rest of the apartment. Common charges in the building are only $453 a month.
