57 Irving's Mystery Finally (Sort of) Resolved With $6.4M Sale

New, 8 comments

It's been a long time coming, but 57 Irving Place, the glassy building with the pop-out windows near Gramercy Park, has finally closed on its first sale. The fourth floor unit in the Audrey Matlock-designed building sold for a cool $6.4 million at the end of last month, and the deed hit public record today. It's been awhile since we looked at what the condos offer, so let's review: about 2,900 square feet, three bedrooms, three and a half baths (with "rain showers"), a marble-lined steam room, a balcony off the master suite, a gigantic marble-topped kitchen island, 50 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows, a private elevator entrance, and, perhaps most impressively, access to Gramercy Park.
