Revolutionary Celebration in Park Slope, Merchant House Trouble

Byrne Playground opened in Brooklyn's Park Slope today, with a colonial themed celebration that had assorted pols and parks officials dressed up in Colonial-era military uniforms to celebrate the playground's multi-million-dollar renovation and its proximity to the Old Stone House, which played a critical role in The Battle of Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War.
