Midtown's Most Boring New Hotel Cures Insomnia

New, 20 comments

The #1 complaint we normally hear from out-of-towners staying overnight in New York: "How can you sleep with all this big city noise?" It helps not to book a hotel room in the traffic-choked, lights-blazing, epicenter of night time distractions that is Times Square, but the new Hyatt going up at the 'Crossroads of The World' is helping to induce a sense of sleepiness* with its super-bland architecture. Look at all that flat glass. You can practically see your dreams reflected in those panels. Free naming suggestion: The Hyatt Somnia. We hope it's not habit-forming.
*This architecture not safe when mixed with alcohol, or when operating heavy machinery.
