FreshDirect met with a lot of criticism when accepting subsidies to move its distribution facility to the South Bronx from Queens, but not delivering to residents who live near the new facility. The company will now deliver to all Bronx zip codes and people still hate them. "I don’t care about (FreshDirect) delivering to the South Bronx. South Bronx residents don’t need their services. We have food carts, urban farms . . . Our concern is the use of the waterfront for a facility that will increase diesel truck traffic." [NYDN]
