Cornell Will Crash at Google's Place in Chelsea

Before its first Roosevelt Island academic building is ready for occupancy in 2017, CornellNYC Tech will be crashing in the Chelsea offices of Google. The school will have access to 22,000 square feet of office space on one of the upper floors of Google's Eighth Avenue building, with an option to occupy an additional 36,000 square feet in three years. In a few months, Cornell will probably ask to borrow Google's car—just for stuff like trips to Costco—but will wait to see how things are going once it's all settled into its temporary Chelsea home.
