"Like always, this report doesn't include replacement costs for the roads the garbage trucks will degrade over the 20 year length of the study. It doesn't quantify how much extra time drivers spend in traffic due to trucks hauling the trash to NJ. It doesn't include the healthcare costs associated with diesel fumes from the trucks that will haul the garbage, the way the barge plan reduces dangers to pedestrians from garbage trucks, or any other correlated costs/benefits. It flatly states it hasn't taken any environmental costs/benefits into consideration at all. It's embarrassing to suggest the trucking plan is superior based on a report like this in this day and age."—Liam McCarthy [Trash Clash]
