Back in April, Chloë Sevigny told New York Magazine that she was looking to leave her East Village co-op apartment because she was tiring of the rules and wanted more light than the garden-level unit offered. It looks like the indie actress found a more preferable pad, as her nautically decorated home, located at 119 East 10th Street, is on the market for $1.7 million. Listed with Corcoran, the 1,250-square-foot, 1BR/1.5BA apartment has a wood-burning fireplace, lots of closets, and a private garden. The low ceilings actually attracted Sevigny, who described the unit's feel as "womb-like." The living room has a beamed ceiling, built-in bookshelves, and exposed brick (fun fact: the apartment originally had a lot more exposed brick, but Sevigny covered it with plaster to be able to hang her art collection on the walls), and the kitchen has upgraded appliances and rustic wood cabinets. Maintenance runs $2,300.
