Preservation Payouts

Congregation Beth Elohim in Park Slope may be the friendliest site that emerged victorious from the Partners in Preservation deathmatch. The synagogue was one of three historic sites to win $250,000, and they are sharing the love with their Christian neighbors by giving the Old First Reformed Church $15,000 to help the church rebuild its roof, which collapsed earlier this year. Upon hearing the news, Old First's Reverend said, "This is what love looks like." [Curbedwire Inbox; previously]
