New York's Justin Davidson lavishes praise on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's new visitor center by Weiss/Manfredi, describing the green-roofed building as "the city's most extreme and subtlest fusion of building and bower." Writing things like "beam and branch graze each other in a circle dance," and "glass wall gives out onto floral splendor," Davidson is clearly enamored with the building. But then again, he also describes the building as "the Hobbit hole of tomorrow." [NYM]
