The plan for a park at Newtown Creek is still stalled due to a DOT-MTA argument over the relocation of emergency vehicles. The city and the MTA had agreed to move buses and emergency vehicles away from the Greenpoint lot set to be turned into a park, but now, sources tell the Brooklyn Paper, the DOT won't allow MTA trucks to move to their planned new spot under the bridge at Kent Avenue and South Sixth Street because the trucks contain pressurized gases.
