What $2,200/Month Can Rent You Around New York City

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various New York City neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $2,200/month.

? In Clinton Hill, this 767-square-foot condo in the Clinton Grand is going for $2,200/month and looks like just about the nicest place you're going to find for this price. The location leaves something to be desired, but the building does have a gym and rooftop access.

? On the Lower East Side, a newly-renovated 2BR is going for $2,300/month. It includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer (in the apartment!)

? This 1BR with an office, located in Park Slope, is available for $2,200/month. Although there's no square footage given, it looks fairly big, especially the windowed kitchen. Somebody better rent it soon and water that plant. It doesn't look like it's got much time left.

? This small-but-charming studio on the Upper East Side is available for $2,200/month. It has a terrace and a pretty cool lofted sleeping area accessible via spiral staircase. The kitchen, however, is so small that it's practically non-existent. Well, it's existent. It's really small, though.

? In East Harlem, this 730-square-foot 1BR in The Sedona can be yours for $2,150/month. It's accessible via private elevator, which probably makes you feel pretty special, and it includes a balcony and a bathroom with heated floors.

? Continuing with our (unintentional) east-side-of-Manhattan theme, this tiny studio in the East Village is available for $2,100/month. If it doesn't seem like it's giving you enough for your money at 300-square-feet, keep in mind that the rent covers all utilities, including cable, internet, gas, and electricity.
