We wouldn't mind being on that roof deck atop 157 West 74th Street right now?except for the fact that the penthouse of which it is a part is a walk-up asking $2.199 million. Which might explain why it's been on the market for about a month now, despite monthly charges of less than $1/square foot. (The penthouse has about 1,700 indoor square feet in addition to the terrace.)
It doesn't look like the place has had a total renovation, but the brokerbabble does reference a "new open chef's kitchen, and there's a bar in the living room, too. Still, that's a tough price tag to attach to a walk-up penthouse.
