WILLIAMSBURG?Yesterday, a tipster sent in this photo of a new structure for McCarren Pool, and we weren't quite sure what it was. But after we expressed confusion, he told us that it's a newly built piece that's meant to replicate the original pool's ticket booth. CHINATOWN?The residents of 11 Allen Street took their anti-eviction fight to the courthouse with the support of Council woman Margaret Chin and the CAAAV-Chinatown Tenants Union. Landlord Fei Wang, who purchased 11 Allen Street in early 2011, is trying to evict the tenants because the building is commercially zone. All of the tenants are Chinese immigrants and have lived in the building for more than a decade. [Curbedwire Inbox; official]
CENTRAL PARK?The Parks Department and the Museum of the City of New York present a new exhibit of 68 photographs that depict 24 of the city's parks.
