Waterfront Watch

Residents of Williamsburg and Greenpoint are, not surprisingly, getting impatient for their parks. Part of Bushwick Inlet Park is supposed to open this year, with a playground, waterfront park area, and paths. But the city has yet to buy the rest of the land for the proposed park, which would cost between $160 million and $150 million (and which might not be available). And then there's Greenpoint's 65 Commercial Street, where the city had budgeted $14 million?and then redirected $13 million of that to other projects. [WSJ; previously]
