Winklevoss Twins Eye Conjoined Apartments at 165 Charles

New, 5 comments

Should they remained joined at the hip? Should they split into separate residences? These are the questions that plague Michael Hortz's four second-floor apartments at Richard Meier's 165 Charles Street, which remain on the market as a potential single floor, $14.5 million loft, but remain four separate places. Hortz also contemplated splitting the floor in half, selling two of the four apartments for a potential 2,500-square-foot 3BR, 3BA and an ask of $6.8 million last year. The Winklevoss twins of almost-Facebook fame recently checked out the second floor, according to the Post—perhaps seeing the together-but-apartness of the place as baby steps towards tw-independence? Actress Gina Gershon also took a look at Holtz's Richard Meier glass quartet.
