The High Line copy cat in Queens, aka the QueensWay, is being met with resistance from people who'd like to see the falling apart railway turned into a high speed rail line that could help public transit to JFK. One rail advocate said, "Commuter rail lines are a sleeping giant of mobility that could be awoken if used better." But QueensWay peeps countered, "It's all broken. You would have to rebuild it. There is nothing to reactivate." Good point. [DNAinfo; previously]
