OHNY Architectural Boat Tours; The Shelton is Over 50% Sold

WEST SIDE?Open House New York usually sticks to landlocked buildings, but this weekend, OHNY is hosting a boat tour on the Hudson River. Maritime historian/author Bill Miller and architect/author James Sanders will narrate the tour, which leaves from Pier 40. Talking points include architectural projects along the waterfront, both new and historic, as well as piers, infrastructure, and parks. Expect to learn more about the new Whitney Museum, Chelsea Piers, Luxury Liner Row, Frank Gehry's IAC corporate headquarters, Jean Nouvel's new apartment house, the Standard Hotel, and more. Located on Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn, the development is an affordable housing co-op, restricted to buyers with incomes between $39,612 and $166,075.
