The neighbors of a proposed hotel on Foster Avenue are so worried about it being an hourly hotel that they're basically going to be the hotel owner's broker. They've offered to find a buyer who will pay $1.2 million for the site just to take it off the hotel developer's hands. Since the proposed hotel site is surrounded by junkyards, this is going to be a challenge. The neighbors have 90 days to accomplish it. [BK Daily]
