Why's Everything So Overpriced?; Cynthia Rowley Chops

New, 1 comment

The latest from Curbed Hamptons, our outpost on the East End...

1) Curbed Hamptons asks, "What's Up WIth All These Overpriced Homes In The Hamptons?" Some of the answers so far: greed, foolishness, too many brokers, not enough transparency, and desperation.

2) Cynthia Rowley's Montauk cottage gets its first pricechop. She's now asking $995K for the 800 sq. ft. one-bedroom set on almost an acre.

3) The owner of Roark's Antiques and Design in East Hampton has listed her Noyac home for $1.395M. As you might expect, the interiors are rather attractive.
