A tipster curious to ferret out the buyer's identity tells us that a full-floor apartment at 69 Washington Place has gone into contract. The apartment is the home of DJ, musician, producer, and Grammy winner (see the decor) Mark Ronson, who listed it about a year ago for $1.995 million. At the time, we wondered whether Ronson's desire to leave?he bought the place from friend of Curbed Michael Gross for $1.8 million in 2006?had something to do with a newly LPC-approved one-story addition at the back of the building's third floor. Evidently, there's at least one buyer out there not bothered by that. Anyone know who it is?
