It's not the largest or most celebrity-connected apartment we've seen come to market at 165 Charles Street, but we're always intrigued by a new listing in the Richard Meier-designed West Village fishbowl. This one, fresh to market, is a 2,356-square-foot 2BR, 2.5BA asking $7 million. (The monthly maintenance is another $4,326/month.) We're not sure who the current owner is or how much he or she paid for the place (anyone know?), but it looks like it's been on offer as a $24,000/month rental, too.
The brokerbabble on this one is relatively sparse, but apparently, "Custom details include 11' ceilings, wide plank wenge wood floors, Dornbracht fittings, Gaggenau & Sub-Zero appliances, slab stone granite flooring in baths, custom white Corian counter tops, Duravit toilets and a Zuma extra deep soaking tub." So it doesn't sound like any major renovations have hit this place, but we are liking the combo of slightly old-timey seating with those glass walls.
