Construction on the 7 train extension is experiencing delays. The latest update is that the train to 11th Avenue and 34th Street won't be able to take passengers until mid-2014, and the station won't be done until the end of 2015. The original projection had been December 2013 (which is when trains will be running for "test purposes"). In the long history of MTA delays, though, it's hard to get worked up about one so short.
