75 Wall Street Condos Over 50% Sold; New Times Square Art

New, 3 comments

FINANCIAL DISTRICT?The condos atop the Andaz Hotel on Wall Street are more than 50 percent sold, with many sales coming in the last several weeks, thanks to the building management tapping Douglas Elliman for marketing. The 346-unit, 42-story building was designed by the Rockwell Group, and it offers studios to four-bedroom homes. The penthouse, which is still on the market, has a great view of the landing strip at 77 Water Street. [Curbedwire Inbox; previously]

MIDTOWN?On Monday, June 18, the massive LED screens of Times Square will be filled with original artwork for "Art Takes Times Square." The event is put on by Chashama and the Times Square Alliance to give artists from around the world the chance to have their work displayed in one of New York City's most iconic locations. One participant is The Priority Boxes Art Project which promotes peace by sending seemingly empty boxes to people with labels that read "Fragile Contains: Peace, Love or Hope." UPPER EAST SIDE?Lucky for you, Upper East Siders, doing your laundry is about to get a lot easier. This summer, a new company called DashLocker is launching its "high-tech, locker-based laundry service" that will allow you to pick up or drop off your laundry, dry cleaning, and shoes in need of shining 24/7, and offers convenient package delivery for those without doormen. You simply get a pin-coded locker to fill with items for DashLocker, which picks up your locker and then returns it when your items are cleaned. [Curbedwire Inbox; official]
