Take a long look at this sketch of a skinny building proposed for 207 West 75th Street, because it might be your last. The developers have withdrawn an application to the Board of Standards and Appeals for project approval, West Side Rag reports. The original plan was for a 141-foot-tall building (on a 25-foot lot), but it met with major opposition from the neighbors at 215 West 75th Street, led by then-co-op board president Pat Kiernan (now a resident of Williamsburg). According to a letter from the developers' lawyer, "recent developments between the applicant and the adjacent property owner?will provide a viable approach to obtaining a reasonable return," assuming everything gets finalized. Anyone know what these "recent developments" might be?
