The Sahara India conglomerate is buying into The Plaza with a $450 million purchase from The Elad Group, but Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal’s Kingdom Holdings will hold on to its 50% stake in the 130 hotel rooms and public spaces and the 25% share in the 100 condos that are rented out as hotel rooms. According to the Post, it remains to be seen who will run the hotel once the deal is completed. [NYP]
