Inspired by Christopher Jeffries' recent sale of his 50 Central Park South duplex penthouse, Michael Gross checks out a few of the other mind-blowing penthouses that overlook the southeast corner of Central Park and talks to their current and former owners. Those include Martin and Barbara Zweig, who bought a Pierre penthouse when it was the most expensive private home in the country and set another record on the relisting. "I thought it was underpriced," Martin Zweig said of the purchase, which is apparently the kind of thing you can say when you're stratospherically rich enough to buy the top of the Pierre.
