We profile one fun weekend home every Sunday, courtesy of Curbed Hamptons...
Location: East Hampton Springs
Size: 3BR, 2BA, 1,600 sq. ft.
This Hamptons cottage with "deep water dockage" is such a summer getaway that we can't even imagine it existing during other seasons. It probably just disappears into a cloud of mist sometime in late August and then reemerges around nine months later looking exactly like it does in these photos, with the plants and everything. Everyone over on Curbed Hamptons seems to agree that the place is nice, but the $2.5 million ask is over the top. As one commenter succinctly put it, "People with $2.5 million to spend don't want to spend it on a tiny house with no land in Springs." But enough of those Hamptons people. What do we think here in New York, guys? Does anyone fugetaboutit? (Are we using that right?)
