WILLIAMSBURG?Let there be light! The Wythe Hotel has flipped the switch on its marquis lights that line the building's glass box topper. Curbed photographer Will Femia snapped the above photo, which show that the lights cover a lot more of the building than last fall's test let on. The lights illuminate the rooftop cocktail bar area, and as one tipster said, "They actually look kind of nice." [Curbedwire Inbox]
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT?Seven previously vacant city-owned lots in Bed-Stuy are now home to Madison Putnam, a 48-unit affordable housing development. Madison Putnam consists of 13 one-bedroom, 27 two-bedroom, and 7 three-bedroom rental apartments. Ten of the units will be available to families below 40 percent of the Area Median Income, roughly $32,000 for a family of four, and the rest of the units will be affordable for families below 60 percent AMI, about $50,000.
