We were wrong in guessing that the Citi Bikes were delayed because the DOT wanted the launch to coincide with Summer Streets. The real reason? Computer problems. Bloomberg said there's some issue with the software. He seemed rather amused by the dismay over the delay, saying "What's fascinating is there was a lot of screaming, 'We don't want bikes,' and now everybody's screaming, 'We want 'em now.'"
