As far as lofts go, 324 West 23rd Street, aka The Colonnade, is much more loft-like. It even has a lofted sleeping area—a loft within the loft. 257 West 17th Street, aka the Steiner Building, seems to have acquired a bunch of walls at some point, which might be a good thing depending on how you look at it (Colonnade's bedrooms don't offer a whole lot of privacy.) The Colonnade is probably the more attractive apartment—open spaces, huge windows—and those wooden ceiling beams in Steiner don't look entirely intentional. But as far as the kitchen and bathrooms go, Steiner is the clear winner. This could be a close one!
