We're getting to the part of the summer where looking at these Hamptons listings starts making us upset. Why does every house in the Hamptons have to sound so nice? Take a look at the brokerbabble from this place:
A winding brick path leads to a flower garden that surrounds the front door. Beyond the vestibule, find a welcoming, sun filled open living room with a two sided fireplace warming both the dining room and living room area. The wonderfully renovated kitchen opens up to the dining room as well as the back patio and pool area... And then, to contrast, the brokerbabble from a place in the city: "Nine square feet. Doorman is an actual rat. Current tenant refusing to move, so you can just sleep on top of him. Hot garbage everywhere. This won't last!" Okay, we made that place up, but the point is that the Hamptons beach house seems like a very pleasant, relaxing place to spend the summer. Let's all go live there together.
