Central Park Airplane is No More; NYU Community Real Estate

New, 1 comment

UPPER EAST SIDE?A disappointed tipster sends word that he went to see Paolo Pivi's rotating airplane in Central Park, but the installation is gone. The metal support beams are still in place, but a street vendor told him that one of the wings broke off, so they took the whole thing down. It was supposed to be on view for another month. Perhaps it's just in the hangar getting the needed repairs? [Curbedwire Inbox; previously]

GREENWICH VILLAGE?NYU announced that the school is adding a "Community Real Estate Development" concentration to its graduate real estate program. The courses in the concentration will focus on the tools and policies surrounding development in "underserved urban communities and distressed towns" so that urban planners and developers can learn how to better engage and work with low-income communities.
