Welcome to Cornerspotter, Curbed's game in which you try to identify the location and/or identity of a particular building or streetscape in a historic photograph. Impress us and your fellow Curbed readers with your uncanny insight into New York City and its past!

Built in the early 19th century, these marketable buildings stand no more. They were once part of a development that occupied nearly a dozen downtown blocks, and they saw their peak from 1880 to 1910. This photo was taken sometime in the 1930s. Do you know where it is? Or what's there now?
