Allen Ginsberg lived in enough places in the East Village that it's almost routine for one of his old rentals (or rather, the building in which it was located) to come on the market. The latest is 170-174 East Second Street, now asking $16.5 million. Ginsberg lived in apartment 16 at 170 East Second Street from 1958 to 1961, and as of August 2000, the place was renting to two NYU students for $2,000/month. [EVG; previously]
